A fast-paced game of luck, nerve and consequences — born for the bar, built for the table and very easy to get competitive about.

The self-contained SCHOCK™ set — packed for deployment wherever the game goes.

The complete table setup: everything in the Field Edition plus the official playing surface.

The official SCHOCK™ playing surface, available separately for an existing setup.

Deckel are the playing tokens used during SCHOCK™. Each Field and Harbour Edition includes 13 Deckel and 2 Halbdeckel, packed snugly inside their square box. The boxed Deckel are supplied as part of the game sets and are not sold separately.

SCHOCK™ comes alive when the table fills up. Roll, reveal, hand over the Deckel and try very hard not to be the person left with all thirteen.

The object is wonderfully backwards: collecting Deckel is bad; getting rid of them is good. A half ends when one player is holding all 13. Lose two halves and you lose SCHOCK™.
The first player decides whether the round lasts one, two or three throws. Every other player gets the same number.
Players reveal clockwise. The lowest hand loses the round; on a tie for lowest, the later reveal loses.
Deckel move until one player ends the half holding all 13. Lose two halves and the consequences are yours.
Enough to get the first game moving. Open a section for the detail.

When the table turns against you, take it well. The game is quick; the stories tend to last longer.

Simple mechanics leave plenty of room for risk, nerve, rivalry and the occasional terrible decision.
Schockgame.com wasn’t dreamed up in a boardroom. It started more than 40 years ago with two mates, Jonah and Dave, serving in the British Army.

Quick to learn, easy to bring to the table and built around the people playing it.
SCHOCK™ is built for banter, rivalry and memorable nights. Keep the consequences fun, keep the table friendly and drink responsibly.
